On the left here, is Stephen who
caught this lovely Barbel weighing 9lbs 13oz on the River Soar in Loughborough at Abbey Meadow, on 24th Nov.'04. It was caught on a 14mm halibut pellet, wrapped with Barbel spiced paste, on a size 8 esp hook, 8lb Kryston Merlin braid, using a safety clip bolt rig. The river was at normal levels and carrying a tinge of colour to it. The day was mainly overcast but with occasional sunny intervals. Well done Stephen!!! Click here to send us your pictures.
