Here is Stephen with an interesting catch out of the Grand Union Canal in Loughborough. We have called it interesting because of the equipment it was caught with. Stephen caught this Chub weighing 4lbs 2oz, now not that amazing you may think but check out kit below. Firstly Stephen was using an 11 meter pole, with No.4 elastic, with 2.7 lbs main line to a 1.4 hook link, and to round it of a size 20 pr26 and a solitary caster!! The day was bright and sunny with a strong breeze, and the water was fairly clear but with light ripples. Stephen has caught better but we know this one was highly prized due to the tackle it was caught on!!
