Members must be in possession of the current seasons membership card when fishing the Society's waters and a current 'EA' Rod licence!! This can be purchased on the net from the Environment Agency
This Membership Card is valid for the Canal from 16th June to 15th March for the river.
No Eel or Trout fishing during the closed season (15th March to 16th June)
Don't take your Dog with you.
Don't leave litter of any kind on the Bank, take it home with you.
No lighting of Fires on any of the Society Waters.
Please close all gates and keep gateways clear.
No fish are to be removed from society waters. All fish are to be handled and returned in a safe manner.
Tin cans of any kind are not to be taken to any of the Society waters. Sweet corn, Luncheon meat etc. must be carried in a more suitable container.
Members are not allowed to use more than TWO RODS when fishing the Society Waters.
Any Member proved to be in contravention of the Society Rules will be Expelled - this includes failure to take due regard to any notices displayed on the Society Notice boards on Society waters.
